The new build of iRacing’s online racing simulation is planned to be released next week, bringing some significant changes to the system.

Content-wise, the new build will bring the Lotus 79 Formula One car as well as the Chicagoland Speedway, a 1.5 mile NASCAR venue.

Furthermore, the build will introduce significant changes to the iRacing member website which can now be personalised using widgets. Another new feature is that cameras can now be edited, especially in replay mode. This is a very interesting feature for those who love to make screenshots or videos of their iRacing sessions.

The new build includes plenty of other little updates and tweaks, all of which you can find in the release notes below (you might have to click “Read More”). Furthermore, there is a batch of new Lotus 79 preview images for you to pass by the waiting time until the release.
